Platforms & integrations overview
Which commerce platforms Comet supports and how each connects.
Platforms & integrations overview
Comet plugs into your existing commerce stack and reads your catalogue — it doesn't replace your store or your checkout.
Supported platforms
- Shopify — fastest to connect. Install the Comet app from the Shopify App Store, or enter API credentials manually. See Connect your Shopify store.
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) — connect with your OCAPI/SCAPI credentials (Site ID, Organization ID, Short Code, and instance type).
- Magento — connect with Adobe Commerce / Magento OAuth credentials (consumer key/secret, access token/secret) and your store view code. Available on the Enterprise plan.
Onboarding leads with Shopify and SFCC; Magento is set up with our team as part of Enterprise.
What integration gives Comet
- Read access to products, collections, inventory, and pricing — treated as a live view of your catalogue.
- Ongoing sync so stores stay current — see Keep your catalogue in sync.
- No write access to your main store, and no involvement in payment processing. Checkout stays native to your platform via your existing processor (Stripe or Adyen).
How long setup takes
- Shopify: around 15 minutes, self-serve.
- SFCC / Magento: a guided setup using your platform's API credentials, typically a short collaborative session rather than one-click.
Comet doesn't charge for integrations.
Going further
Drive store creation and publishing programmatically by prompting an AI agent through Comet's MCP server. See AI agents, MCP & API access.
