Keep your catalogue in sync

How product, price, and inventory updates flow into your stores.

Keep your catalogue in sync

Once your platform is connected, Comet keeps your Checkout Stores aligned with your real catalogue — no manual re-uploading. When you first connect, Comet runs an initial import of your catalogue; after that it stays in step with your store.

What stays in sync

  • Products and variants — new products, edits, and removals.
  • Pricing — price changes (including multiple price books on SFCC) flow through to every store featuring that product.
  • Inventory — stock levels are reflected; when an item sells out, it shows as out of stock across your stores.

How it works

Comet treats your catalogue as a live, read-only view of your connected platform (Shopify, SFCC, or Magento). It only ever reads — it never writes back to your main store. Most changes appear within a few minutes.

Forcing a refresh

If something looks stale:

  1. Go to Store settings → Shop System.
  2. Re-run the catalogue import / resync for the connected platform.
  3. Give it a minute, then refresh the store preview.

Troubleshooting

  • A product isn't appearing? Make sure it's active and published to the sales channel Comet reads from.
  • Wrong price showing? Confirm the price in your platform, then resync.
  • Still off after a resync? Email support with the store URL and the product in question.
