Getting started
Build your first Checkout Store
Use the builder to turn a prompt or a template into a branded store.
Build your first Checkout Store
Comet's builder turns a short brief into a fully branded store — products, layout, copy, and theme — that you can refine and publish. In the dashboard, Checkout Stores live under the Micro-Stores section.
Two ways to start
From Micro-Stores:
- Generate a micro-store — describe what you want and AI builds the whole store from your brand and catalogue.
- New micro-store — the step-by-step builder, for when you want to drive each choice.
The builder steps
- Source — choose where the store starts from.
- Gallery — pick a template, or start blank.
- Products — select the products to feature.
- Briefing — give the store a name and, optionally, its audience, USP, and the main objection to overcome. A strong brief makes the AI's copy sharper; you can skip it if the prefill already fits.
- Personalization — Comet fine-tunes copy, theme, and layout to the brief.
- Create — build the store. From there you can keep editing, with changes previewing live.
(If you're choosing colours and fonts by hand, a Theme step appears before Briefing.)
Tips for a strong first store
- Curate, don't dump. A focused selection converts sourced traffic better than your whole catalogue.
- Match the partner. The closer the store's look and copy are to the creator or campaign, the better it performs.
- Set up a smartlink before sharing so the first click is attributed. See Creator & affiliate attribution.
Doing this at scale?
You can create, brand, and publish stores by prompting an AI agent through Comet's MCP server — "spin up 20 creator stores from this CSV" becomes a one-line operation. See AI agents, MCP & API access.
