Comet was a game changer in my daily workflow. I am able to test new campaign ideas super fast without having to rely on third parties, and improve my campaign performance on Meta.

Elias Jochner, Kjavik Founder

TLDR

Kjavik, a European start-up redefining barefoot sneakers for the modern era, partnered with Comet to maximize marketing efficiency across paid social and influencer campaigns. Founded by an experienced ecommerce entrepreneur, Kjavik leveraged Comet's platform to rapidly launch 10 high-converting micro-stores in just 6 weeks, driving a 24.9% decrease in Cost per Order on Meta.

Challenge

Elias, the founder of Kjavik, set out to boost conversion rates and refine messaging for different target personas—all while maintaining full control of experimentation with a lean team.

While he had deep expertise in ad-level testing on Meta, achieving strong CPMs and CPCs, his biggest challenge was improving onsite conversion rates for his high-AOV product category.

Instead of outsourcing CRO efforts to a costly and time-consuming design or development agency, Elias needed a fast, flexible solution that allowed him to test and optimized funnel experiences in-house, ultimately with the goal to reduce customer acquisition costs.

Solution

Comet's platform enabled Kjavik to rapidly experiment with funnels for different ads angles, and create highly cohesive shopping experiences from ad to checkout featuring:

Leveraging Comet's Advertorial Template
Kjavik chose a news article like micro-store template designed to convert cold traffic. Instead of sending shoppers straight to a PDP, the micro-store provided in-depth content on the benefits of barefoot shoes and detailed product information. From there, users were seamlessly transitioned into a mobile-first, social-optimized check-out funnel.
Testing Persona-Specific Micro-Stores
Kjavik was targeting different personas with their Meta ads. Some ads were targeting gym-goers looking for stable footwear while others addressed runners seeking enhanced foot stability. With Comet, Kjavik effortlessly duplicated and customized micro-stores for each persona, allowing rapid testing with messaging. This approach not only enabled quick experimentation with new ideas but also ensured that Kjavik's main store maintained its broad brand positioning, while highly targeted micro-stores optimized conversion rates for each audience.
Launching Influencer-Specific Micro-StoresKjavik decided to partner with a macro-influencer whose health conscious and fitness focused community was aligned with Kjavik's brand values. To maximize ROI on the partnership, Kjavik created a micro-store experiences tailored specifically for the influencer's community. It featured a prominently displayed discount code making the offer feel more exclusive. By aligning the shopping experience with the influencer's messaging, Kjavik achieved a 6.5% lift in Conversion Rate and 24.9% reduction in Cost per Order vs. sending the traffic to a Product Detail Page turning this partnership into a highly profitable collaboration.
